Jennies Room
Located on the mezzanine level on the south side of the guesthouse, Jennies Room is an ideal summer room. As you enter you are greeted by the works of John Edward. A triangular Spa with skylight overhead dominates the e-suite and offers the potential to be submerged in luxury Jennies Room has a feel of its own, open and welcoming, spacious and familiar. Located on the north side of the guesthouse, Dolphins Playground is an ideal winter location. Open and cheery, it has a spacious feel on entry. Located on the eastern side of the guesthouse, Turtles Playground is the most isolated guestroom. It is dominated by the roof design and is adorned by the original works of Jon Lawrence. A dormer setting provides table and tub chairs and an air of intimacy. Upon entering the room there is an instant sensation of place, the shape of the roof, the numerous works of Jon Lawrence shrouding the walls, the timber tones surrounding a large king size bed. Located on the ground level, this guestroom is ideal for those preferring not to tackle stairs. It is open and airy as you enter presenting various works collected during trips to SE Asia. The en-suite has an ample shower recess. As with all the guestrooms in Sandholme Guesthouse, the Oriental Room can be configured for couples or Twin Share. In times when a third person is to be accommodated the Sofa bed can be made up. The Oriental Room is the largest guestroom at Sandholme and located on the ground floor, it is also the most isolated and ideal for those wanting total seclusion. The artwork in this guestroom is an eclectic collection of pieces collected from a number of countries in SE Asia including Indonesian shadow puppets and ceremonial masks, Etchings from Anchor Wat in Thailand, musical instruments and a large fan from China.
