Aristotle was once overheard to say; that "Great experiences are made to be shared with friends". This is undoubtedly why Alexander the Great took so many of his compatriots when he visited the Empire of Persia.
No I am not suggesting that you should get a bunch together and go and sack, rape and pillage. But! Opportunities for experience are always more enjoyable when you have like-minded friends along to share them.
As a suggestion, form a group of 10 to 12, head south on a Friday afternoon. In 2 1/2 hours you will reach Sandholme Guesthouse in Huskisson on Jervis Bay on the south coast of NSW. We can park four cars under the house and secure them for the weekend. Two more can be parked off street in safety.
Take a cruise around Jervis Bay and out into the wide blue yonder in search of whale. As you know the whale is a ponderous, loving and very intelligent creature and very often will sound near a boat to give photographers the opportunity of a lifetime.
Don't worry Moby Dick normally ranges further south and the master of the cruise ship is very experienced. The only parallel to experiencing a whale at close quarters would be wandering through the wide-open areas of South Africa in search of Elephants. Jervis Bay is a tad closer.

- On Saturday evening enjoy a great meal at one of the local gourmet restaurants Seagrass Brasserie) including food and wine to the value of $100 per couple
- On Sunday morning, after a very light breakfast, set out on a Whale Watch Cruise
