Just 2 1/2 hours south of Sydney is where Mother Nature stopped to take a breath during the time of creation. Jervis Bay was created as a haven for wildlife, a playground for Dolphins, a place to relax and recuperate from a busy life.
The trip south is just on 200 Km from Sydney which is ideal for motoring, top down, with a 'friend' as navigator and perhaps a mechanic in the rear. Even for Vintage cars the trip is not arduous, the roads have improved dramatically over the last decade.
Jervis Bay presents the setting for a weekend outing for the "technical" members of the club as well as an opportunity to show that romance has not been displaced by a fine set of gears. We could even find a place for the mechanic.
Not only does Jervis Bay abound with wildlife and is surrounded with parks and beaches, but there is superb food and luxury accommodation to be found in Huskisson on the banks of Jervis Bay on the south coast of NSW.
With a cavalcade of say 5 vehicles you can treat the locals to a fine display of precision engineering and at the same time take the opportunity to experience the gifts Mother nature left for those who cared.
Sandholme Guesthouse is an ideal place to experience the best in luxury accommodation, food, and gracious living. Designed in the Federation style of the early 1900's Sandholme is NOT just a bed for the night, but a holiday experience in its own right.
- Arrive Friday evening to find a bottle of sparkling wine waiting in your fridge
- For late arrivals a light snack is available by prior arrangement
- Secure parking under the guesthouse is available for four vehicles; off road parking is available for two others

- On Sunday embark on a cruise to see the splendour of Jervis Bay and the many Dolphins that live in its waters. Dependent on the time of year you may even spot a whale sheltering in the Bay
