Coastal Patrol in Voyager Park

The new Coastal Patrol building is part of a complete upgrade of Voyager Park. The park is named in remembrance of the HMAS Voyager that suffered a fatal blow and sank 20 miles off Cape Perpendicular the northern most head of Jervis Bay. Voyager Park was constructed from ballast in ships arriving at Huskisson to carry timber. The ballast formed the perimeter and later the RSL co-ordinated the filling of the area to create a wonderful park at the entry to Currambene Creek
