After your wedding ceremony guests will be welcomed at the Sandholme Guesthouse Reception and Conference Centre with drinks and canapes served informally on the verandah or in the function room prior to the arrival of the Bride & Groom.

Celebrating the wedding at Sandholme Guesthouse is a relaxed affair.

It should be noted that Sandholme Guesthouse does not have a liquor license, however, your selection of drinks included in your wedding planning package, can be purchased on your behalf - whether it be a sampling of local South Coast wines, Champagnes of the world or beers both local and imported.

Your wedding table presentation is important and in keeping with the quality of the Sandholme Guesthouse's decor. Tables are dressed in white linen and place settings are of sparkling cutlery, English china and Italian glass.

Table decorations such as flowers, bonbonniere and place cards require your personal touch. While it can be arranged to supply these and have the tables dressed for you, you also have access to the wedding reception dining room to DIY.

Intimate Wedding Reception and Seating

The Bridal Table is set up at the top of the dining room with easy access to the area dedicated for both speeches and the cutting of the cake. Guest tables are arranged to enable easy viewing and involvement with all proceedings.

To ensure an excellent culinary experience for your Wedding Reception, Sandholme Guesthouse has selected the finest of the local Jervis Bay caterers who offer a wide range of food selections.

Alternatively, a chef can prepare a gourmet banquet in the commercial kitchen on the premises. Meal selections can be made through consultation during your wedding planning process and your total wedding reception and accommodation package will be determined keeping in mind your particular requirements and budgetary concerns.

If a sit down dinner is not your thing, a more casual approach to serving would be a continuous stream of delicious plates both hot & cold that would be served to your guests as they mingle and celebrate in the ample spaces of the Guesthouse.
